Incident Status

Overview
  • STARTED - This is the default status for when new incidents are created.
  • MITIGATED - The incident is ongoing but immediate customer impact has stopped.
  • RESOLVED - The incident is resolved and a long-term or permanent fix has been implemented.
Slack

Updating incident status in Slack is easy with the following commands:

  • /rootly mitigate - This will mark an incident as mitigated.
  • /rootly resolve - This will mark an incident as resolved.
Web Interface

Updating incident status happens in the top toolbar as illustrated below:
